The Villacher Alpenstraße is a tolled panoramic mountain road that climbs the Dobratsch above Villach in Carinthia — about 16.4 km at 7.2% to the Rosstratte at ~1,732 m, with an open upper section giving a three-country panorama over the Julian Alps and Karawanken. It hosted a Tour of Austria mountain finish in 2015. In the same family as our other great Alpenstraßen (Nockalm, Grossglockner): a paved toll road earned on scenery and difficulty rather than Grand Tour pedigree.
