Passo Pordoi (2239 m) is the second-highest paved pass in the Dolomites, cut into the southern flank of the Sella massif. From Arabba it climbs 9.4 km at 6.8 % — a ladder of steady hairpins with no real surprises, the kind of rhythm climb that rewards a diesel. A monument to Fausto Coppi stands at the summit, marking the pass's long bond with the Giro d'Italia. It is one of the four cols of the Sella Ronda and a centrepiece of the Maratona dles Dolomites gran fondo.
