The Mortirolo Pass (1852 m), also known as Passo della Foppa, is a high mountain pass in the Alps in Italy, connecting Mazzo di Valtellina and Val Camonica. The road from Mazzo di Valtellina is one of the most demanding climbs in professional road cycling, averaging 10.5% with a maximum gradient of 18%. It first appeared in the Giro d'Italia in 1990, usually placed as the last or penultimate climb before a stage finish, and since 2004 stages crossing it include the Cima Pantani prize honoring Marco Pantani.
