The Lukmanierpass (Passo del Lucomagno) is the lowest direct road crossing of the main Alpine chain in Switzerland, linking Olivone in Italian-speaking Ticino's Blenio valley with Disentis/Mustér in Romansh Graubünden over Hauptstrasse 416. The southern ascent from Olivone is a long, steady valley climb that stiffens near the top before reaching the reservoir of Lago di Santa Maria at the pass. Open year-round, it carries less traffic than the nearby Gotthard and San Bernardino routes.
