Passo delle Erbe (Würzjoch, Ladin: Jü de Börz) is a quiet Dolomite pass between the Gadertal and Eisacktal valleys, set below the distinctive Peitlerkofel. Traffic is light compared with the bigger Dolomite passes, which makes it a favourite among riders looking for a hard, scenic climb away from the crowds. From Longega the road rises steeply and steadily through forest for about 14 km, with grades sitting in the low double figures most of the way and short ramps to around 15%. The pass road is closed in winter and is best ridden in summer.
