Col de la Croix links Les Diablerets with Villars-sur-Ollon and the Chablais valley above Bex, in the Vaud Alps. From Les Diablerets the climb runs about 8 km at an average near 7.4%, broken by four switchbacks, starting beside the Diablerets Express gondola at the village edge and finishing at the open pass below the Diablerets massif. The road over the col is seasonal, open roughly May to November depending on snow. The pass featured in the 2022 Tour de France stage 9 (Aigle to Châtel), where the riders climbed it from the Les Diablerets side.
