Thyon 2000, a ski station on the balcony above Sion in the Valais, is the modern queen-stage finish of the Tour de Romandie — used in 2021, 2023 and 2025, when Lenny Martinez beat João Almeida to take the race lead. From Vex it is a genuine Hors Catégorie: about 13 km climbing ~1,150 m, pitching into the double digits near the top, with the Rhône valley falling away below.
