The Malta-Hochalmstraße climbs the Maltatal in the Hohe Tauern to the Kölnbreinsperre, Austria's highest dam (~1,900 m), with the 'Airwalk' glass platform out over the wall. A tolled tourist road with eleven tunnels (bring lights) and steep 9–10% ramps in its upper section — one of Carinthia's signature panoramic climbs, earned on scenery, not racing.
