The Giau Pass (2236 m) is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites, in the province of Belluno, Italy, connecting Cortina d'Ampezzo with Colle Santa Lucia and Selva di Cadore. The road from Selva di Cadore has 29 hairpin turns and three tunnels protecting against avalanches. It has featured in the Giro d'Italia in eleven editions since 1973 and was designated Cima Coppi (the race's highest point) in 1973, 2011, 2021 and 2026; since 1988 it has also served as the sixth and steepest of seven passes in the Maratona dles Dolomites cycling event.
