The Cormet de Roselend is a 1,968 m pass in the Savoie Alps, traversed by the D925, linking Beaufort in the Beaufortain valley with Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the Tarentaise. The classic ascent from Beaufort runs 20.3 km at an average of 6.0%, climbing 1,227 m and passing the Lac de Roselend reservoir on the way to the col. The pass first featured in the Tour de France in 1979 and has been used many times since, most recently in 2025; in 1996 Stephane Heulot abandoned in the yellow jersey on its slopes.
