Alpine Crown — The great climbs of the Alps

Bring your rides

Every col you cross is read from a ride file, never ticked by hand. Upload once, and every climb you have ever ridden is counted — including rides from years ago.

Fastest — your whole history

From Strava: one ZIP with every ride

  1. On strava.com (not the app), open Settings → My Account.
  2. Under Download your account, click Get Started, then Request download.
  3. Strava emails you a download link, usually within a few hours.
  4. Download the ZIP and upload it here, as it is. Do not unpack it.
  5. Keep the page open until it finishes — the tab title shows the progress. If it stops, run it again: rides already counted are skipped.

The ZIP is opened in your own browser. Only the rides that pass near a Crown climb are sent to us, and the files are not stored — see Privacy. Strava's own guide: Exporting your data.

One ride from Strava

  1. Open the activity on strava.com.
  2. From the ⋯ (More) menu, choose Export Original (or Export GPX).
  3. Upload the file here.

From Garmin Connect

  1. Open the activity on connect.garmin.com (the phone app cannot export).
  2. Click the gear icon at the top right and choose Export Original.
  3. Upload the file here — the ZIP Garmin gives you works as it is.

From any other device or app

Wahoo, Hammerhead, Komoot, Ride with GPS or any other bike computer: any .fit, .gpx or .tcx file with GPS works. You can select many files at once.

What counts

A climb counts when your ride goes up the whole road to the top, by bike, outdoors. Riding it again is always welcome, but it counts once. Details: The Rules.

Why no "Sign in with Strava"? Strava charges developers for the one setting it would need, limits it to ten riders, and no longer allows showing Strava data to other people — which is what a Hall of Fame does. Your own files have none of those limits.
